The Digital Health Specialist (DHS) provides digital health services, including virtual care and remote therapeutic monitoring. The DHS participates in the development of the digital health program and serves as a liaison between patients and in-clinic treating providers. This is a full-time, remote position. Must be licensed in the state of GA, NC, SC, or VA, OR Compact PT License-eligible. Must also be willing to obtain PT licensure in other states.

What You’ll Need:

  • Physical Therapist License
  • Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience
  • Bilingual fluent in English/Spanish preferred Pelvic Health
  • Pelvic Health preferred
  • Experience providing Digital Health Services preferred


What You’ll Do:

  • Uses digital platform to deliver telehealth visits including evaluation, assessment, and treatment plan development.
  • Performs Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) services including interactive communication and monitoring.
  • Supports digital services with appropriate documentation.
  • Works closely and supports operations to deliver digital services and meet patient care and staffing needs.
  • Performs physical/occupational therapy RTM monitoring and treatment in accordance with standards of practice established.
  • Communicates with the primary treating clinician providing revisions in treatment as appropriate.
  • Develops regional strategy for growth and implementation of digital services.
  • Serves as a liaison between providers and Program Manager.
  • Utilizes digital services as a strategy to develop therapeutic alliance with patients.
  • Advocates for digital services to optimize and grow remote services at CORA.
  • Assists the RTM Program Manager in developing RTM best practices.
  • Maintains regular reporting and data analysis of regional service metrics.
  • Participates in program development and marketing efforts as directed by the Executive Director of Clinical Education and Program Manager.
  • Collaborates with other departments as necessary.
  • Actively pursues opportunities of professional growth.
  • Completes other job duties as outlined by the Executive Director of Clinical Education.
  • Maintains standards of professional and ethical practice according to APTA/ AOTA Guidelines in the full scope of physical/occupational therapy services.
  • Understands and follows all CORA business, compliance, and employment policies and procedures.
